As you know, Olivia’s grandmother used to tell her ghost stories about Conchillas. What do you think Hotel Evans will look like inside? How will Salvador and Olivia react? Write a short paragraph. Remember to be spooky!

Example:
The old wooden door squeaked and an icy air welcomed the children into a room covered in dust and time. Salvador was paralysed, he couldn’t step in. Olivia, however, was the bravest and just went in unafraid. The hotel was big and magical. The furniture had not changed since 1911 and there were strange paintings on the wall.
